Comedy / Bar is a unique stand-up comedy venue located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. We provide a platform for local comedians to showcase their talent and entertain audiences six nights a week. Our offerings include open mics, trivia, bingo, spelling bees, and local stand-up comedy shows, providing a diverse range of entertainment options for our guests. Our cozy and intimate setting provides the perfect backdrop for a night of live comedy and great drinks.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fry Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fried foods, including French fries, chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, and other frozen stuff. You will work closely with the bar staff and management team to ensure that all food is prepared and cooked to standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods, including French fries, chicken strips, and mozzarella sticks
• Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked to proper standards, following recipes and cooking procedures
• Work collaboratively with the bar staff and management team to ensure that all orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of food and cleaning of equipment and tools
• Adhere to all local health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures

Requirements:

• Prefer experience as a Fry Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service setting, but open to train
• Strong knowledge or willingness to learn appropriate frying techniques and procedures, including proper temperature control and food handling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and the management team
• Must be able to work nights and weekends
